Butterflies + Chanel = Perfect Day

I have a thing about butterflies. Something to do with transformation that I identify with. There’s a place called Butterfly World close to where I live where they fly around in a sub tropical climate and sit around feasting on bananas. You can watch the chrysalis hatch into a butterfly. There’s meerkats as well (once a meerkat ate a butterfly who had made the mistake of flying next door). Anyway I digress.

So I obviously like the idea of the Chanel Butterfly Garden. Selfridges are the latest deparment store to do something different, following the Pradasphere in Harrods. From 29th May to 18th June head to the Chanel counter for relaxation in beautiful surroundings plus a complimentary makeover – find your inner child on the garden swing and decide if you want the make up artists to update you look, or do it yourself using the clever IPad instructions.
