Uniqlo x Liberty – print innovation

You know that I love an interesting collaboration and today I was excited to discover that Japanese brand Uniqlo is teaming up with much loved British department store Liberty to create a vibrant, floral collection with pieces for men, women and children.

Uniqlo are no strangers to collaborations, in the past they’ve worked with French style icon Ines De La Fressange, former Vogue editor Carine Roitfield and contemporary French brand Lemaire. They’re known for their unique approach to design, and innovative research and design centres where new materials are discovered and tailored to our increasingly busy lifestyles.

Fans of Uniqlo’s revolutionary Ultra Light Down will now be able to own a Liberty version (I can’t wait)! The collection coincides with Liberty’s 140th anniversary, displaying yet again how world famous liberty print can move with the times and breathe new life into textiles.

The 30 piece collection is available on Friday, March 18th to coincide with the re-opening of Uniqlo’s global flagship store on Oxford Street.
